Engineer Anthony Adanihoman Ifionayi Eigbe, an indigene of Edo State in Nigeria was born in Uromi, Edo State on 16 July, 1971 and obtained his Primary School education in Erameh Primary School, Okpella, Edo State from 1977 to 1983. He attended Annunciation Catholic College in Irrua and Ikpomaza Grammar School, Okpella both in Edo State for his Secondary School education and subsequently acquired his West African Senior Secondary Certificate in 1992. He enrolled into Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State where he graduated with a Bachelors in Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering in 1999. With a great desire to prepare himself most competently for professional excellence, he further pursued a Post Graduate degree in Business Administration from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State in 2002. Presently, Engineer Anthony Eigbe belongs to two eminent professional bodies in the field of Engineering; The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). Engr. Eigbe possesses up to two decades of in depth professional experience in the Nigerian electricity industry having worked for Sabrud Consortium as Head of Metering Department from January 2003 to 2006 and subsequently, National Prepayment Metering Project Manager, Enugu Distribution Zone for the same organization from January 2007 to 2008.
Engr. Anthony Eigbe is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nakla Company Limited, officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in September 2017 which has the goal of producing quality rice and fish products with delicious taste at an affordable price using ecofriendly technology and innovations .It was borne out of the great desire to meet the needs of the people of our community who lack access to quality rice and fresh fish products.Through this company, Engineer Eigbe has given employment to several youths, empowering them financially and providing the pedestal for them to foray into private enterprise. Kaamu Farms under him is making great in roads into large scale fish farming in the state which is significantly impacting the micro and macro economy.
He is also the Managing Director of Kaamu Farms Limited, a fish farming enterprise which he started in 2006 in Awka, the capital of Anambra State and that has grown into a major player in the fish farming and supply business in and beyond the capital city. With over twelve (12) years experience in the industry, the company under his leadership is among the most competent and seasoned in fingerling production, fattening of table size fish, fish processing, compounding of fish feed as well as provision of consultancy services. Engr. Eigbe is also a Part-Time ordained Pastor in the Living Faith Church, Awka, Anambra State. He is highly principled, proactive, well travelled and committed to the pursuit of knowledge and excellence. He stands out mainly for his integrity, uncompromising diligence and unrelenting passion to deliver in any given task. He believes strongly in making far-reaching positive impact in the lives of all he meets, leaving his every environment and his immediate society far much better than he met it. Pastor Anthony Eigbe is married to Lucy Nkechi Eigbe and they are blessed with Eight (8) children. He presently resides with his family in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria and enjoys reading and listening to gospel music.
